Merry Meet!
I wanted to know if there are any other Pagans/Wiccans here on MN? If so what are your plans for the Autumn Equinox? :)

Ello.... I plan to hang out with my group... Chesterfield Pagans :)

We love to listen to this //www.wyldwoodradio.co.uk ...
They always have a special playlist and talking pixies on at special times of the year Grin

Of course there are, we get everywhere Grin

Not much planned for me, other than a few hours out in the garden, preparing for winter, and a nice meal with a good bottle of wine.

What are your plans away?

Hello! We will do a little ritual at home with friends, nice food, quiet space, Sacred Space, music, bit of chanting!! Thank you for reminding me, I need to organise to make it look lovely.

BUT. . . Guess what!! For Samhain we will be in San Francisco at Spiral Dance We are so, so excited!!

Yes, us! DP is working in mabon, but I'm going to pick him up afterwards and drive up to a stone circle, where were planning to do a small ritual. It'll be rather late when we get there, given he only finishes at 9pm, but we're still excited to have the opportunity. So, if anyone happens to be near a stone circle in Cumbria late-ish at night and sees two people trying to hold a ritual whilst corralling a crazy jackapoo puppy, there a good chance it'll be us!

waves I'm sitting under the pagan umbrella! Only recently started on my path so I'm trying pretty much anything and everything to see what feels right for me. As it's just me in this house that's pagan, it will be a bit of quiet time and some offerings of food and drink to the gods and wights and a good meal for dh with a place set for my ancestors.

waves hello On Sunday I was in Kent visiting family then travelled back home later. So earlier in the day I went for a stroll in a country park near the folks, then had an informal ritual in the back garden with DH in the evening back home.

Hi! I am a hedgewitch, been practicing for a few years and it has made my life so bountiful. i had a lovely Mabon last week, made offerings- I still have a beautiful display of flowers- we ate lovely food, burned apple scented candles to give thanks for the summer.
My family are not practicing and I don't impose my views on my family although they love the atmosphere and yummy food.

Hi, just exploring this path and thought I would pop in :) msmiggins food always helps get people onside doesn't it Grin On a personal level I am finding the energies around this Samhain very intense, is that me or have others noticed it? What are your favourite ways of keeping grounded and centred?

I am Jewish woman who still leans heavily on her Wiccan past. I have been doing some decorating for Samhain and thinking about a ritual to celebrate. I can just feel the excitement in the air..Halloween Smile

SecretWitch Samhain does have a very special feeling about it. My daughter who is actually being raised Christian has still noticed and commented and said "mummy the year really ends after autumn doesn't it?" The kids want an autumn celebration in preference to Halloween, so I am thinking up things not explicitly pagan but still fitting, IYSWIM. This is all really new to me, I'd love to know how others share with their kids.Halloween Smile

Oakmouse, for some reason, I am feeling a certain energy this year. Trying to understand why. I am feeling compelled to acknowledge it in a meaningful way. My little daughter is being raiised in the Jewish faith but she seems to be a natural witch ( as does her older sister)

There's definitely a different energy around Samhain Halloween Grin

It's our wedding anniversary on 30th and we're on a major holiday for Samhain. There's definitely a real 'vibe' in the air this year. And at the risk of sounding 'woo' does anyone else feel they're having more psychic connections / experiences than usual?

Murder, my lovely goth killer! How are you doing? I'm thinking of doing a very simple candle ritual. Maybe using my dowsing rods at some point doing the evening ( after all the trick or treaters have made the rounds!)

Iklboo, congratulations on your 30th Flowers I just got a shiver reading your post! I have been having the most vivid dreams. We have been having a few more little disturbances in our house. I figured I might get out my rods and try to connect with the energy..

Another one here... Don't practice much these days - too bloody tired - but here, nevertheless.

Wonder sometimes if my ability (such as it is/was) has been passed to my DD. Until I make an effort, of course.

There is something in the air this year - more than usual, I think. Or perhaps it's just time to blow the dust off my broomstick.

I'm good Secret, and you? Just a simple candle ritual and a visualisation/meditation for me this year, chance to sit and think of my mum.

Belle, I really feel my witchiness has passed to my daughter's. They both instinctively turn to the sky to keep an eye on the moon. They both know and see things..I understand about the tired thing. I used to celebrate every Sabbat and Esbat..have not done so in years...

Murder, I am sorry to ask..is your mum ill or has she passed? Forgive my intruding..

Morning all, I can feel the energies stirring on this dark morning. When we choose this path we find treasyres laid at our feet.
I was at an Autumn school fair last week just as they were closing and there were 4 boxes of small alter candles in gold, green, violet and orange. I paid £3 for the lot- I had only been pricing them online the previous day in those exact colours and was astounded that they were there waiting for me.
Blessed be.
