I used to love Passover when I was little - I found changing all the dishes and all the special food and all the cooking very exciting. Grandma always made the best potato kugel & we got those little chocolate rings with the jelly inside. Now it's my own house and I'm the one who does all the dishes, all the cooking (and I can't get those little jelly rings anymore!) and I find dread it more and more every year. Some friends I know either don't bother or just use paper plates but I know I wouln't feel right not giving it the full works. But it is bloody hard work! Anyone else getting ready? Or are you one of the lucky ones who's going away??
