Merry meet!

Hope you are all ok, do you have any plans for this Samhain?

In my group we call it Hallows as our practices are Wiccan, so we use the names given to the festivals by the early Wicca, that is Candlemas, Spring Equinox, Beltane, Summer Solstice, Lammas, Autumn Equinox, Hallows, Yule or Winter Solstice. We don't use the Gaelic names that became popular (or in the case of Mabon were coined!) in the 1970s/80s.

I really like Hallows, I find it cathartic and it helps me wind down and think about the thoughts and self-healing I want to focus on over the Winter months. I also like that it helps me feel connected to those within the Craft who have died.

I feel that I am interested in discovering more of my inner self and of growing more in tune with who I really am. The problem I have is that I am a very grounded person and so struggle to relate to a lot of the language used, it seems too "airy fairy" for me and I think too abstract. Can anyone give me some pointers on where to start, maybe some websites? I live abroad ( non EU) and so popping to the local library ideas won't work for me.
Many thanks in anticipation
