The Yurt in blossom

I dive off the cliff into the lake and swim with dd and the dolphins. Then we go ashore to the fire by the forest and keep warm with the tigers and mannikin Tigermoth.

The noises of Fasnacht are sending away winter and after food we will join them in costome and song.

Tonight in celebration of Fasnacht is the Masked Ball. After along siesta I will go to the elf palour to be pampered and then dressed for a night of intrique, magic and dance.

The Yurt is being decorated in early spring blossom and candles.

Ah a masked ball! I dressed in black and silver glitter and had my hair done by the elves!

I am weary as all kids ill or fractious. Spring cannot come soon enough for me! I am watching for the buds and here in yurtara I am admiring blossom, buds and a wonderful display of bulbs. I can smell the muscari and hyacinths! THere are a thousand daffodils and wonderful fritillaries.

Hello all - not visited for a while but my, the Yurt is looking welcoming Smile so many flowers peeping out around the Yurt door - and the candles cast a magical glow. Spring really is in the air.
My baby boy arrived into this world with a pet dragon (he is red - chinese I think) and they fly around the treetops blowing the clouds into feathery, rainbow-hued curls and watching the sunshine twinkle on the glistening ground. The damp herbs in the grass around the lakes are warming in the air making a steamy sauna to cleanse and scent us with hope for the coming year. I float awhile with the dolphins and gaze up at the sky to clear and open my mind to the vibration of no-thingness. I can still hear the distant echoes of the music from the masked ball - it sounds wonderful.

Hello Iris and the dragon and your new babe are most welcome.

THe flowers are wonderful and the smell of new grass and moss and growing things makes me revive.

Iris wonderful to see you :) How are you enjoying your wee mannikin? My boy is so lovely, very mellow and easy to read. He is quite a magical being who shoots electricity from his forehead. I marvel at him!

Glitterfairy hope you are feeling restored somewhat today.

I am going for a long walk today over the moors of the Land. I need wide open spaces and freedom. The spring winds will blow through my hair and clear out my cobwebs. To dance, sing in wild abandon and have my voice spiral and skip away into the netherlands.

Thanks Paps - my little man is wonderful. he takes the energies given to him and changes them to pearlescence. I was with a Shamen & Master friend today who gave me words of wisdom tying into things you have pointed out. It seems LO's dragon is a guide to help him transit into this world and centre himself. I have seen his red lights sparkling around the house over the past weeks and feel him as a very powerful being.

Glitter - I hope you are feeling better Smile

I am fascinated Iris with the Mahjong insight for the red dragon for yourself and for me with my story-telling.

so I have been rummaging about online - to find pinpoints of red light to luminate the way.

Found this about the history of Mahjong. In Chinese philosophy, sets of five are a re-occuring theme - one set of five is the five directions: Dong/East, Nan/South, Xia/West, Bei/North, and Zhong/Center. The symbol on the Red Dragon is Zhong (center).

Although the four directions or "winds" are already there, and four seasons are there too, there seems to be an additional direction or "wind", the "middle wind". The character "chung" for this additional wind is the same as the chung1, "middle" that is used as the sign for the tile we call "the red dragon". So, was the red dragon originally a fifth wind?

Did you see that the bible also makes mention of "the great red dragon" and assimilate this with the Satan concept. Wonder where dragons first crept into being and how did they get roped into biblucal interpretation!??

So I have had a quick read...
The kings of the early succession (who reigned in Sumer and Egypt before becoming Kings of Israel) were anointed upon installation with the fat of the Dragon: the sacred crocodile. This noble beast was referred to in Egypt as the Messeh (from which derived the Hebrew verb 'to anoint') - and the Kings of this dynastic succession were referred to as Dragons or Messiahs (meaning Anointed Ones). In times of conflict, when the armies of different kingdoms were conjoined, an overall leader was chosen and he was called the Great Dragon (the King-of-kings) or, as we better know the name in its old Celtic form, the Pendragon.

Papillon. Brilliant links - thanks! I'll look at the stories in slower time and see what leaps out at me. The mahjong resonated immediately with me Smile. Traditional Chinese medicine also has 5 elements - the red dragon seems to align with the metal element (large intestine/lung - coincidentally, DS & I have both been on a probiotic since his birth to address bowel imbalance caused by all the antibiotics)

I have been in hell and it was not this blossomy place. I still cant really bring myself to talk on here yet and certainly not in here but I held my life cheap for a day or so and wanted to give up.

Now this magical and calming spirit needs to flow into me and heal me and I need to sit under the blossom and comtemplate an old dream of looking out of my bedroom window and seeing a magical budding of al the trees in my road.

Spring will come and I will heal and things will get better! I trust in this.

An old wise plum tree came to the orchard today. Her branches were heavy and gnarled with small beginnings of yearly growth, blossom budding.

I feel at awe at her steady spirit - she teaches us and the young trees much. A blossom does not only come to the youth, but also the mother and sage. The blossom is more savioured but also bittersweet which always been the true fragrance of Life.

Glitter - hold to the knowledge that you will never be given more than you can cope with in this life. Paths may be rocky underfoot but through this we learn balance and lightness of being (and the need to wear thisck soled shoes sometimesSmile).

I see the sun glistening on the dewy ground around the Yurt today creating sparkling rainbows of light and life. The hard winter worn earth is warming and softening, bursting with strong new shoots and the magical promise of lush foliage and wonderous blooms Smile love and light to you all on this beautiful day. I am going to wander the fields and just be, with the elements, and with my LO who is deep in ponderous sleep on my chest. x

I had a better day yesterday and felt more supported and then today came here and saw this.

I feel more peaceful and know that I can cope I am trying to look on my pain and suffering as a learning experience, knowing that I am a stronger person now than I have ever been and that the one who causes me this pain is in pain themselves and part of the problem is that they do not acknowledge it but fight it.

That sage old tree paps is calling me to come and lie in her branches and listen to her tales and stories and meditate with her. Soon it will be the spring equinox and the yurt and lands will blossom and grow fertile and full.

I feel the peace and calm of this place and the full spirit of support and love thank you. Peace light and {{{{{hugs}}}}]

I am going to try and record some of the sage trees thoughts in some stories, ungrammatically correct as possible to avoid assumption in the normal sense of the word.

I have never seen such fragile blossoms and her trunk is empty in parts as she hollows with age. Many creatures live in nests, nooks and crannies and feed each other with their daily happenings.

The fairies are working spreading her scent in the orchard so that her offspring can grow here and fertilise their mothers wisdom.

I am looking forward to seeing and hearing the stories! The blossoms are fragile, beautiful but immensly strong it will take a strong wind to blow them off and once blown off the tree will start to grow apples with pips for more trees. THis tree has been the mother of hundreds more trees and her apples have been eaten wiht glee by children all over the land of the yurt making them healthy adn strong.

The tree gives to us in so many ways we cannot believe her abundance.

THe blossoms are now expanding with the sun and glowing as the breeze bends the branches like crinoline skirts.

Hallo All :)

Gothicmama all the best with birthing gothic child 2 - any moment now huh!! We are hovering nearby full of expectation and baited breath.

My keyboard received a gift from the mouth of Tigermoth and seized up with delight earlier in the week. This means I am now finally sporting a new sparkling white wireless version which babies are not allowed to spit on!

In the meantime I have been visiting the stones in the caves and cliffs of Bongland. Communing with them in the day and night.
