shock

No, I don't know her, but presume she is mentally ill, going by her initial first response to the cat.

Was the cat OK?

LynetteScavo Mon 23-Aug-10 14:36:17

initial response.

Obviously I'm so shock I can't string a sentence together.

loopyloops Mon 23-Aug-10 14:38:30

It was caught on CCTV only yesterday, so I presume it was rescued unscathed.

SummerRain Mon 23-Aug-10 14:38:50

That poor kitten sad Please say it's ok?

That woman is clearly mentally ill... lord knows what other harm she's doing wandering around on her own like that

loopyloops Mon 23-Aug-10 14:39:51

I'm sure it is ok, don't worry. But the bitch woman needs to be found and prosecuted IMO.

deaddei Mon 23-Aug-10 14:40:55

Actually I wouldn't necessarily say she's mentally ill- just a vicious bitch.

LynetteScavo Mon 23-Aug-10 14:41:40

I've posted a link to this thread in the Coventry Local section of MN.

I've known plenty of people who actively hate cats... there's no way they'd be able to bring themselves to touch one and rub it so calmly.

The fact that she acts so gently towards it while scouting out the street to see if anyone's watchiung is chilling and crtainly not the behaviour of a well person.

I mean, I dislike terriers, so i avoid them and growl if they come near me. I don't stop to gently pet them while i search for somewhere to dump them confused

in the Sun now

loopyloops Mon 23-Aug-10 14:53:45

Any of you with FB or twitter could you please repost so we have the best chance of catching her?

Vallhala Mon 23-Aug-10 15:02:27

Have posted on my FB and sent out to animal rights contacts.
Dispicable, evil c....

loopyloops Mon 23-Aug-10 15:04:51

Thanks Val, when we catch her we'll be sending her to you!

Vallhala Mon 23-Aug-10 15:08:02

Please do!! wink

Do I take it that you know the owners or are in some way involved, Loopyloops?

loopyloops Mon 23-Aug-10 15:09:40

No I don't, but my brother does.

When I say "we", I mean social media.

Vallhala Mon 23-Aug-10 15:14:09

Oh, right, thanks for explaining (am being nosey!).

Seriously, if anyone comes back to me with any questions onto the specific area or whatnot I now know where to come, thank you.

Oh my, that's just awful!

fartmeistergeneral Mon 23-Aug-10 15:15:55

can't bring myself to watch it, someone tell me (gently) what the woman did?

LynetteScavo Mon 23-Aug-10 15:18:12

She walks along, says hello to a cat, spots a wheeley bin, opens it up, while talking nicely to the cat, then grabs the cat and pops it in the bin...closes lid.

spikeycow Mon 23-Aug-10 15:31:19

Was the cat OK??? Sounds like a psychopath to me being nice first. I hope karma beats the shit out of her angry

loopyloops Mon 23-Aug-10 15:33:25

Cat was fine.

shivster1980 Mon 23-Aug-10 15:41:25

I'm shocked. Poor kitten sad, glad she is ok.

ohemgee Mon 23-Aug-10 15:41:55

What a sick weirdo, glad the cat was ok, how did they find it?

Thats so awful.

I wonder how many times she has done that before until getting caught out this time?!

My wee 'rescue' kitten is called Lola too

Ishouldprobablywax Mon 23-Aug-10 17:30:16

What a bitch, I was just going to post about this nasty vicious awful person. I'm so angry

owner found kitten 16 hours later poor thing, very strange woman

StudiousSal Mon 23-Aug-10 20:22:00

I bloody hope they do the same to her the bitch.

I understand people don't like some animals but at least there decent and just leave them alone, I'd love 5 minutes with her!! angry

LynetteScavo Mon 23-Aug-10 21:13:00

It's constantly on the news...so I imagine she would be found, but she looks so ordinary.

I guess most people would think someone they know who looks like that wouldn't actually do something like this ...unless they are ill. In which case she needs a carer with her 24/7.
