Hi. Just looking for a bit of advice. My male
5 year old cat has had to go to the vets for a blocked bladder. He had a similar episode a few years ago and we were able to claim direct from the insurance company. Apparently you're only covered for the following 12 months for that same category of problem. This leaves me with a £600 bill!

Anyone had a similar experience with Tesco or any success stories on claiming for the same condition years apart?

Thanks

I have got the top level cover and I think the cover refreshes itself every year. You pay extra for it. But I have it for the peace of mind. Not impressed my premium has doubled though. But still the best value I could find and very easy to deal with.

Unfortunately that is the level of care you have paid for. You needed lifetime cover to cover any conditions beyond that.

My sister had the same with her cat's kidney problems and friends with her westies eye and skin problems, both only had 12 month cover and have now been paying for expensive medication monthly for years.
