Vet recommendations, Newbury/Reading

I'm visiting family with my dog, who has done something to his paw. It's not bothering him, but I want to get it looked at.
Unfortunately, I'm 200 miles from my regular vet.
Can anyone recommend a good vet around Newbury, Berkshire? I did ask on the local forum, but I suspect no one reads it.
