2 x vaccinations, worm tabs, flea treatment for next 6 months + VAT.......

Thats £120.43 please.

I remind the kids every christmas that the cats maintenance is part of their pressies as they chose them :)

But, they ARE worth it.

i paid £3k last year for hip replacement for dog!
£300 for cut leg.
£80 for knicker elastic stuck in bum (dog eats knickers!)

they charge it coz we love our pets and will pay it!
apparently brits are the worst!!

agree the prices are disgusting.

My dog has just had his cornea scraped off, a contact lens inserted and his eye stitched half shut to prevent the contact lens dropping out. With a tube of antibiotic ointment and a buster collar to bring home as a souvenir, it cost £213 (with a further £50 to come to remove all the gubbins).

I reckon that that is a bit of a bargain when I consider all the people that looked after him that day, or dealt with his paperwork etc etc.

I bet more than half of your bill was on the flea treatment for 2 cats - In my opinion I think using it as per instructions is a complete waste of money (and it is expensive!).

The flea stuff was about £25 (+ vat?) - frontline. We do them every 2 months over summer, & when we remember after that. They are both terrible hunters!
