Have you tried contacting your local vet? They often have names and numbers of local groups in the area that do rehoming.

Alternatively call this number 01403 267658. This is the rabbit welfare assosciation helpline and they will have a list of rehoming centres in your area.

I know it hurts Almost, I have recently had to rehome one of my dogs due to certain circumstances but providing the right home is found you will have def made the right decision. I felt guilty for so long but now I know she loves where she is, has 3 walks a day and is spoilt rotten. Imagine a place where your bunnies will have somebodies undivided attention. I can now say I am pleased with my decision but it took me along time to accept that.

what hurts me is i dont like caged animals and they sit there bored to tears i have put bunnie toys in there ,i just think it would be nice if they had a big run etc,we are renting or dh would build a large hutch with outdoor run

I know exactly what you mean, I made my stepdad build a big run when I had bunnies but when I got my own house I left them with him because I didn't have the space. We do have rats (pet) and make a conscious effort to get them out everyday but I still think it is a little unfair to keep them in a 4' tank at times. It's difficult because then you just hope that the next place they go to will be big enough. Nailpolish's bunny sounds like he got a good deal.
