It contained the sentence your Summer Book is on it’s way

I have emailed their customer service team.

I hate myself a little bit.

I got the Pedantic Huff last year at their St Valentine's Day display.
"Love is a many splendid thing", it said. I have emailed them about typos on their site several times

Have you ever had a reply Gilbert?

I emailed a hotel who were advertising their lovely hotel with "cunty settings" instead of country

Grin Did the hotel have pampas grass in the grounds?

No reply from Next, ever!

I wish we'd contacted a local school which has a banner on its railing advertising an open day (last July! still there) to celebrate the building's centenary. It says something like 'Come and see inside our lovely Victorian building'. No. By 1914 Victoria had been dead for a long time. It annoys me every time I pass that way.

London don't worry, you're not alone: I emailed them too. I couldn't contain my outrage. There is absolutely no excuse for major international companies to be perpetuating this kind of illiteracy! The rules governing apostrophes really are not that hard to understand.

I also emailed Tesco recently about a bag of kale, which said on the front 'perfect for stir frys'. To be fair, I got a reply from someone in their customer service team within about an hour, apologising profusely and promising to rectify the error.
