AIBU to expect better from preschool?

The first incident was when I recieved a note from the preschool which indicated that the next 'fruit day' for DS was Friday 31st February. This was then swiftly followed a few weeks later with a form for me to complete on behalf of DS which asked me to complete the sentence "At the moment I'm really enjoy and am interested in:"

Is it really too much to ask that the people looking after my son have at least some basic grasp of the Gregorian calendar and perhaps have someone proof-read the outgoing memos? Shock Shock

Sounds as if someone is a bit slapdash - they both seem to be mistakes which should've been picked up before the notes were printed, rather than ignorance. Maybe the writer needs to get away from the dch into a darkened room for a bit!

Hmm you should read the newsletter from our pre-school. It's awful and sounds as if it has been written by one of the children!
Thankfully now they have started to e-mail it, the content is improving slightly.
When I saw a nursery rhyme on the wall with spelling mistakes though I couldn't stay silent and pointed it out to one of the teachers! It's raining it's poaring....grr

It sounds like they haven't checked it over which I think they should do as surely that can't take too long.

I confess to getting my red pen out when I got something from nursery saying "area's of learning".
