A celebration of the life of...
I think it's 'of' but then there's a lot of 'of's in there. I don't know if there's a way you have to word it like a protocol or something but could you say 'a service to celebrate the life of...'?
I think it's ofI"d probably ditch the words "service of" though as the two ofs make it sound awkward.
Of definitely, for would I think imply he/she was still alive (but would still sound weird to me!)
In preparation of the leaflets for a funeral which would be the correct wording:"A Service of Celebration for the Life of..." or"A Service of Celebration of the Life of..."Thanks!
