It's incorrect (tautologous) - these or those suffices.
I think clumsy rather than actually incorrect. "These" or "those" are enough by themselves.At least better than saying "them ones" though, as in Glenn Hoddle's "I never said them things".
tak1ngchances - How about simply "these" or "those"?
What would you say instead?
I keep hearing this and it really grates on me. Is it incorrect, though, or just clumsy English?
