Help! Last-minute 40th birthday venue in London

Agh! Need to find a venue in central or south east London for me and my other half's 40th birthday night out in A WEEK AND A HALF. I know.

Can anyone recommend anywhere good?

There will be approx 15-20 of us. Our ideal would be just a nice pub or similar, not too full on where we can have food and booze and ideally a bit of dancing after. Shouldn't be too difficult. But we have no social life any more so have no idea where to go.
