Well, I have finally got there... she is officially an adult today (I think that's what 18 means...!)

Big family/friend/godparent party here on Sunday (me doing food for over 30... help!).

So officially today is the start of the Pampered Princess time and it will last 4 days until Sunday....

I am half asleep and that should read DD1 and not DS1.... (I don't have a DS who wants to be a pampered princess!)

So what does pampered princess time involve exactly?

Pampered princess time involves the following:

She has two exams today (poor thing!) so did have to get up but she lay in bed... all the family brought her presents to her and she hinted at breakfast in bed (no time to do it!)

She is going to the supermarket to buy some alcohol and is willing the checkout girl to challenge how old she is (which of course won't happen now she is 18!)

Friends coming round... we are opening champagne, endless lifts for a meal out with bf tonight.

Endless lifts for a night out at the pub (now legitimate) tomorrow night.

Endless lifts for another night out on Saturday night.

Big party for her Sunday lunchtime with everyone ooohing and ahhing at how fab she looks and just being a VERY IMPORTANT PERSON for 4 days nonstop.

BTW I love it... if she can't do it now when can she?! BUT, I shall be glad at some point when Sunday night comes and it is all over!!!!!
