Just wondering if anyone has any recipes or ideas for things that I could put in a party box for children between 1-2 yr's old and also for two children aged 8.
Also in the middle of organising the list for party buffet food and although I have put a notice up on one of the other boards I was wondering if anyone had any other good idea's?
My main idea's for the party were:
Smoked salmon/or whole cooked salmon whichever is cheapest at the time.
Crusty bread and butter
A few of salads...need a good rice salad and pasta salad recipe if anyone has one?!!
Marinated cooked cold peices of chicken
Vol au vents with tuna mayo, prawn mayo and mushroom fillings
Carrot, peppers and sticks of cucumbers with various dips
Cocktail sausages and sausage rolls
Quiche and pizza
Some mini sandwiches for the kids
As for sweet things I thought of:
A mix of Strawberry and raspberrys to serve with double cream and merringues
Chocolate brownies
and Lemon drizzle cake and my mums Danish apple cake (yummy yummy!)
Any advice would be much appreciated as I am going crazy trying to think of everything. LOL
