Nice things for children to do at a grown-ups party.

Me and a friend are both turning fifty this year and are having a party at a local sports club. We'll have live music, a barbecue, and we're going to be camping on site and will be able to have a firepit. No neighbours for miles and the nearest ones are coming anyway!

Children of various ages will be there, my own are sixteen year olds and some of their friends are coming, and I've been wondering what nice things we can set up for them.

We've booked a bouncy castle for the afternoon, but I can't see that as the sole source of entertainment for them! The party is 2 p.m. until the early hours and we've got a festival theme.

If anyone's had a party like this and has any ideas, I'd love to hear about them.

Thanks spaghetti!

I've already thought of a big pile of facepaints and letting them rip at each other since first posting.

YY the glowsticks too, for the grownups as much as the children....

A bit of input from an adult or teen to organise rounders, cricket, british bulldog, limbo. With a bit more input you could think up a craft activity - if you want something outdoorsy google forest school craft ideas.

Sounds like a wonderful party.
