forest school party bags!

DD is having a forest school party for her 6th birthday. I'm trying to think of fun forest-type things to go into the party bags. So far I have these twig pencils but that's about it!

I'm thinking maybe little packs of seeds? Or little magnifying glasses? Or is that too boring for 6yo girls?!

There will be cake as well

Little terracotta pots, a sandwich bag of compost and some wildflower seeds.
I think you can get seeds in paper shapes, you can just put them on soil and water them.
How about Geocache sized toys (whistle, hair bobble, bouncy ball size) and place a few around the party area in small tubs for the girls to find. Perhaps get them to mark the locations on a map to make a "join the dots" picture.

How about wooden beaded bracelets? They either make them as an activity or buy in bulk from eBay. Jewellery is always a winner with girls.

I think seeds would be great (DD happy with this sort of thing).

And you can get glasses which give you an insect eye view of the world. I'll try and find the sort I mean on google.

Ooh thanks, good ideas! I have found these little seed pots which look quite good.

I like the sound of the bug glasses, maybe as a pass the parcel prize, or one of those little bug viewers. And the woodland stickers are fab!

I will have a look for wooden bracelets, good idea to have something girly in there . Or I was thinking maybe little butterfly tattoos?

pussycatdoll, forest school is great! They light fires, play games in the wood, toast marshmallows, make stuff out of wood, that sort of thing. DD goes to a saturday group and they also do birthday parties. I think I am more excited than her
