Posh coffee is a nice one, hadn't thought of that. Thanks all.
Some lovely coffee?I've always fancied trying Nigella's trick from one her programmes. Make a batch of homemade cinder toffee. Put it in a pretty container for your host. Eat cinder toffee on way to party. Present empty container to host.
A box of crackers?
nice smelly candle? packet of posh coffee (either instant or Christmas-sy kind of ground if they have a coffee maker)? or go for completely silly if they have a sense of humour and bring a package of Christmas loo roll or a completely kitschy little Christmas decoration.
I snaffled this idea from elsewhereBut a small glass vase with some floral scissors and some floral wire so she can arrange the other people will have brought always goes down well ime.
Got a few parties to attend over Xmas and I'm looking for something 'different' to take other than the usual wine/flowers/chocs. Anyone got any good ideas, budget up to £15?
