Do I need to do activities/games/entertainment for 2yo party?

DS will be 2 in a few weeks. We are having a party at home from 10.30-12.30 for 8 children. I kind of assumed they would just play a bit then eat their lunch and cake but went to another friend's party last week which had provided entertainment (Pop-up tales). Now I'm worried - should I organise something for them to do? If so, what?!

No. And if you do pass the parcel, all the kids will cry when they have hand the parcel on to the next person. Don't do it!

They don't need much, but some colouring or interesting toys wouldn't go amiss.

Please don't. It will just stress the parents of children who won't be interested Grin.

If yo are feeling generous, borrow a bouncy castle from someone?

No entertainment needed. We did have an elefun which the children loved jumping up to try and catch the butterflies (ditch the nets at that age). The other children will just love playing with your child's toys.
