Storyteller & entertainer wanted for 2nd b'day

Can anyone recommend a 'storyteller' for my dd's 2nd birthday ? Ideally I'd like someone who can read a story AND keep a group of 2yrs and 2.5yr olds captivated and interested. Has anyone seen the story telling lady on CBeebies who wears the tartan pinafore and has the 'naughty, naughty wooley sock or fluffy cloud' etc. in her stories?

Props will probably be needed, a bit of singing and nursery rhyming etc too would be good.
We are based on the Berkshire/ Hampshire border just outside Reading.
I'd be grateful for any recommendations anyone has (or any alternative suggestions for a home party)

um .. think I'd save that kind of thing for older children and just let 2 year olds play maybe offering a creative table with say paper plate fish and pritt sticks

We tried to book entertainers for our Mums & Tots Christmas party - none of them would come out to under 3's as they said it would be a waste of time as none of them would sit still long enough to enjoy the show. I agree with Twiglett's suggestion.
