I have managed to get out of parties thus far, however DS who will be 4 next month has requested a party.
Its at home, with only 8 children, which should be manageable apart from the fact that he would like a police theme!
I think I have the cake covered but am really struggling with the police themed plates, cups, party bags etc.
Have googled all evening and come up blank so any help would be much appreciated.

At my ds's party I bought some of those paper sandwich bags which kids decorated. I'm sure you could get police stickers.
You need blue cups to be sirens.
Whistles in the party bags.
A version of musical statues where the kids move around/ play, talk, make funny faces, but when they hear the police siren (use a toy car with a noisy siren) they have to freeze! Last person to freeze loses.

"evidence" bags as party bags.
You can buy police scene tape to decorate a room.

Asda do bubbles that are in a little policeman - might be good for party bags

Some ideas on this blog (sorry about the link)
I love the ideas for the blue 'police light' cups and the police scene tape.
For the party bags, you could get white paper bags and write "swag" on them.
