I have 2 friends who are due soon with their 2nd babies and I need ideas of what gifts to get them....any ideas?
also what to get their 1st kiddies as presents.

I cant afford to spend much on each I am afraid.

what did you need/want your second time around?

Thanks

Are you close enough (in friendship and distance) that you can offer help with 1st kiddies, like a "DC1 day out coupon" or something? Free and worth its weight in gold...

Food! Nice homecooked food - you can't go wrong!

As for presents for their 1st dc - it depends on age and sex obviously, but something small and not messy like colouring or aquadraw might be an idea? (I could have killed DH's Aunt who bought ds1 a big box of plasticine when ds2 was born!)

Afraid we leave about an hour apart and I have a 1 year old myself so cant offer to have their fisrt child much though when I go over I will obviously help as much as I can.

Am gonna take some food but wanted a gift for Mum too.

What about bath stuff? help her relax?

as for the other friend we live close by but are only recent friend but will help with first baby with some other friend most likely.

Bth stuff abnd chocolates??

Ah well, then in that case, bath stuff, definitely! My daily 'retreat' under the shower was my mental saviour when DCs were new-borns...

thanks
