I forgot to go to my youngest sons sports day

I am working 6 nights a week with triplets at the moment and sleeping during the day. I am really tired but that is no excuse to forget something so important is it?

He isn't at all bothered and hasn't said anything at all about me forgetting but I feel so guilty.

I have apologised and he really doesn't care that I wasn't there. He is such a laid back little boy - bless him.

No you're not a bad mummy - there will be other sports days. I'm worse as I didn't take time off work for DDs sports day

No you're not a bad mummy - if you feel bad why not take him out and do something just the two of you.

If he isn't bothered you shouldn't be. Let it go
