Hello all, I hope it's ok to post this here!
I am writing a book to increase knowledge, understanding and awareness of attachment parenting/unconditional parenting methods in the UK.
I would love to hear your experiences of parenting your children in this gentle, positive manner.
- Maybe you used to tend towards the authoritarian/disciplinarian way of parenting?
- Did something specific happen to make you change the way you do things with your children?
- Have you had moments where you wonder if you are doing the right thing? What strengthens your convictions?
- Have you had any good experiences of using AP/UP methods when those around you were sending their kids to the naughty step etc?
- Have you managed to convert any of your friends to your way of thinking?
- Why do you think this way of bringing up your children is so important?
- Finally, any amusing anecdotes would be most welcome!
Please send your thoughts, anecdotes and any suggestions to:

Many many thanks in advance! Claire x
