ex partner and access

Hi mummy's i'm new on here and just wanted some advice i don't know if i'm posting this on the right page but here goes.. i'm 21 an have a 2 month baby girl i split with my ex as he was controlling and abusive i stayed with my mum during my pregnancy, with no contact with my ex as i was scared he would manipulate me to get back with him an wanted to become strong again for the sake of my unborn baby this was the final straw before leaving i didn't want my baby growing up with a cold an uncaring father. I just received a letter saying he wants access but he told me to have an abortion an that he's never even held a child or knows how to love or behave around one. I know an he knows he still wants the control back he once had over me an i'm so scared if he has access my daughter will be unsafe in his care. Hes alot older than me an is a manager who thinks money can buy eveything even my daughter i've never accepted money an have worked to earn my money since i left him, he was sacked for violence towards his staff an is a psyhco i know that he will carry this through as he'll see it as a game an will want to win. this isn't fair i want the best for my daughter. Can anyone give me any advice on what the stages are an wat will happen in court thank you xxx
