I have ds[5] and DD1[3] both home ill. To be honest having spent a coupel of hours with them they both could have gone to school and nursery but nevermind. Anyways DD2[2] has gone to nursery and needs picking up at 12.45pm. Am pondering whether when I go to leave ds and dd1 in the car which will be parked in a church car park only used by people accessing the nursery or church while I collect DD2 which will take about 10mins or whether to take them with me even though its raining and the 10min walk will turn into a 20min walk.

So is the car park 10 minutes away from where you'll be collecting dd2 ?

If so, then no, I wouldn't. If the car park was right outside dd's nursery, then I probably would

no the carpark is about a 2min walk but DD2 walking back takes ages as she faffs am also taking in to account the putting Dd2s coat on etc.. Once I leave the nursery I can see the car the whole time

hmmmm - if you can see the car (apart from the couple of minutes you'll be in the building getting coat on etc.) and providing your other dc's are likely to stay put in their car seats and not mess with the hand brake etc., then I think I probably would leave them tbh.
