DD has stopped drinking - any ideas?

22mo DD has stopped drinking pretty much entirely. She will drink 1 190ml cup of milk in the morning and before bed, but has stopped drinking anything else. 2 weeks ago she would drink water from a lidded beaker all day long.

I have tried:
straws
open cups
mugs
sports bottles
juice
more milk
tea

I'd give her a blardy fruitshoot if I thought she's ingest the thing.

She has a UTI which is not shifting because her fluid intake is low. So naturally she is grumpy as hell, and I am getting more stressed, which is making things worse.

I have been in tears about it this morning. does anyone have any idea at all? thanks

ah, I forgot to add "bribery" to the long list above. She will, if offered grapes/ "mummy cereal"/a story/some telly, place a cup to her lips and mime having a drink, but nowt goes in .

we're a bit snowed in ATM, but will head out for soup, melon and ice lollies later if we get thawed out.

You could freeze some fruit juice in an ice cube tray in the meantime. Crush them up and let her eat it with a spoon if needs be.

Have you got a blender? I bet you could knock up some soup out of the store cupboard ingredients in no time...

thanks for asking ninja . we ate soup a lot, and DD is now accepting "pink milk" ie milk from a pink cup . still no water/juice though. Charlie and Lola have a lot to answer for.

she seems on the mend.

Maybe you could get away with watering the 'pink milk' down a little bit more every few days...
