Caked On Snot - Tear Free Ways to Remove from 16 month dd??

Dd has a cold and in the mornings the snot is caked on her nostrils. I've tried removing it with with cotton wool and warm water but it's not really shifting - and she hates me going near her nose. Any ideas how to get rid of it?

Baby wipe and ignore the screams

Be as quick as you can to minimise the upset for her

have you time to get her in a warm bath?

may help if she gets all wet..providing she likes getting her face wet though

I use Elizabeth Arden 24 hour cream on kids under the nose once they have dozed off!

Slightly cheaper alternative to Podrick - I put Vaseline on their noses at bedtime. Helps it to come off with warm water and cottonwool in the morning.

Or botty balm works well too. I do confess that 8 hour cream is the thing that works best once their nose is sore though

if nose is sore then use the tissues which have calendula impermeated into them.

I use a damp piece of fleece material, its very soft and its just warm water, so still a bit of fuss but no hysterics!

just an old cheap fleece blanket cut up into squares. Good for sore bottoms too!
