cant seem to do right for doing wrong. He deosnt stop followin me around and is constantly wanting picking up etc. He used to be so placid until he cut his front teeth! Hes really wearing me down and my partner is away monday to friday so cant hand him to someone else at the end of the day! I found my self bloody shouting at him yesterday and then thought about baby p and felt like an awful mother! Hes being clingy day and night so im haiving no space at the moment!

am having very similar day as you today with my 9 month old, shouting then feeling disgusted with myself.

can't really offer you any advice but you are not alone and you are not a bad mum. just stressed and tired.

Oh you poor thing. You so have my sympathy. My 14 month old was really poorly over the weekend and I couldn't go out of her eyeline without her screaming. She just wanted to be in my arms but after 3 days of it I was ready to loose the plot.

Is there anyone else around to help a bit? Maybe try and get out as much as possible, even long walks in pram. Better than being followed round house being cried at. Let other stuff build up and you can deal with it once DH is back at weekends and there to help? Does he nap in the day?
Have you tried teething powders, is he still teething?

Get thee to chemist tomorrow and stock up on teething powders. Wrap up and go for long walk and take a book. Get a take away coffee, Walk to park. Am hoping he'll be entertained by sights in park or aslepp and you can read maybe as much as 1 full page of the book.

Buy him a new cheap toy on way home and lay down on the sofa while he plays with it.

Might that work????? Possibly???????

Maybe he's coming down with a cold or something. They always go through a really demanding stage at around your ds's age.
I second long walk in the pram. Mine both turned into very placid babies on the pram... It was my "me time"
