For a few seconds - no.

For an hour - yes.

do it every day - DD 21 months loves it. Just make sure you don't their head. What harm do you think it can do?

i think my dh has our dd's upside down more than he has them upright.

annoys me but they love it.

Been doing to dd since she was tiny, she loves it, she's 16 months now. My mother always flinches though

DD loves this when DH does it - I cringe slightly (not sure why, tbh) but it's hard to ignore her going "again, Daddy pleeeeeese"

The dcs get thrown around every which way. Their favourite game is "toss" where they are the object being tossed - usually at the end of someone's feet. Sounds terrible if you try and explain it, but they love it.

Surely a bit of rough and tumble is a normal part of childhood and, within reason, is a good thing.

Also my dd's favourite thing. She spends more time upside down than the right way up. Mostly by half standing on her head so she's shaped like an unverted v, not because we dangle her upside down all the time. She's an odd child

sorry but lol at cotedazur's post.

Mine love being 'thrown' on the bed.

one of DS's favourite facts (from Warwick Castle) - if you hang someone upside-down for 2 days they will die.

Only if done my an uncle.

Medical staff used to turn newborns upside down to start them breathing, and their brains didn't all drop out of their eyesockets. I wouldn't worry about it.

Better by their ankles than by their wrists - by brother did this to dd when she was 2 and dislocated her elbow!
