DD not sleeping tonight...what do I do?

I have settled and put down DD (5months) three times tonight and each time within 10mins she is awake and howling again. Tried, feeding, soothing in crib etc etc. Any suggestions? Do I get her up and wait till she falls asleep on me eventualy? Never done this before, she usually just goes off straight away.

I don't think so, should I try some calpol?

Has her day been any different to usual? Could she be overtired?

she sounds like she is poorly or coming down with something tbh poor little thing

I would try calpol, won't do any harm

Thanks for the advice, typical isn't it, I finally decide to ask the question and after narly 2hrs of trying, she finally settles. Good to know there are other mums out there.
