Do you tend to walk or get the bus (not wheel on, so one in sling, one in buggy).

Can't decide whether to invest in Phil and Teds (having sold one already ) and just try and keep fit or be lazy and find buggy you can fold with a buggyboard on and hop on the bus all the time.

Any experiences?

DDs are 2.9 and 8months. DD likes to walk but does get shattered if we're out all day.

My Dcs are 2.10 and 4 mths. I have a side by side double which I walk into town (about 30 min walk) Lo fine in pushchair but DS keeps asking to walk. I am normally meeting someone for coffee etc so pushed for time and he takes an AGE to walk. Also then gets over tiredd grumpy etc. Have tried getting bus with single pushchair and buggy board but then DS wants the buggy - just can't win!!

Hiya me too, although dd is 3.5 and ds is 14 weeks. I cant walk to anywhere from my house though have to drive a bit first which defeats the object of going for a walk. I cant even walk to the local health centre, although would desperately love to. We live on a pretty busy countryish road with a tiny pavement, no fence and fast traffic then at the end of it is a motorway roundabout. Its getting to point now where i'm actually thinking of moving to be within walking distance of everything, especially so i can at least walk the dcs to school when they start. Oh and thers no busses either.

No easy answer then, grrr! Walking to anywhere with DD1 makes me lose the will to live TBH, don't mind 'going for a walk' though but it's a bit gritty round the new house.

It's the getting back for lunch/ nap that's the pain in the bum. I am spoilt at the moment with everything on my doorstep. Will maybe have to do more afternoon things.

Thanks so much for replies.
