He's 2 in a couple of weeks and when im tidying up i put him in the travel cot thats in the living room so i know he cant get up to anything...but when i come back in the room he's stripped off and this morning had pooed and was playing with it!!!
Ive tried him in sleepsuits..he just opens the poppers, i try and put tops on him that have a fairly tight neckline but he just pulls his arms out and gets them off.
I cant think of anything else to do.
Is this normal behaviour?
He's not yet potty trained as we go away in 2weeks and want to wait until i come back, so theres quite often mess off him.

Yes, it is completely normal.

It seems to me you have two issues, one is his penchant for nakedness, and the other is his playing with poo.

To tackle the first one... does it matter? If you are in the house and it is warm, can he be naked? If you have a potty handy, you should be able to catch any wee/poo as it happens and it may give him an idea about potty training anyway, when you get around to it.

As far as playing with poo goes - apart from getting it off him as soon as possible, I don't have any sage advice about that one, I'm afraid.

I know how you feel my dd does exactly the same, I think it is a fase they go through. Well I hope so in any way. No ideas but thought to let you know that you are not alone. Hope someone else comes along with some ideas

Agree Vera-
I don't think being naked is a problem either Sounds like he may be ready fro potty training now-unfortunately there are windows of opportunity for this and sounds like this is one

He goes on the potty when we strip him for the bath but he hasn't done anything on it , but i want to hang on until i get back from holiday before we potty train him.
The being naked doesn't bother me its just the fact that he wee's or poo's coz he's got no nappy on. Say if i put him in the travel cot while i have a bath or something hes aleways soaked when i come down.
