Ok so how do you do it? I cannot look after three children all at once!

Just been to hosp to look after my friend's 2 year old while she had an appointment.

It was hell on earth.

Not helped by my four year old being the worst child imaginable today, for some unknown reason, and trying to injure said two year old at every opportunity...I was steadfast in my determination that Nobody Shall Cry and amazingly, nobody did - for a whole hour and a half.

I never want to do it again.

They were great after about 15 minutes, basically because we found a children's waiting room and I begged the receptionist to let them play there, which they did, quietly for over an hour.

The baby was fantastic throughout

How do you get other people's children to even notice you are there, when you are talking to them...and how does anyone prevent 3 children under the age of four from getting run over or worse, without assistance?

Having to run and grab toddler while pushchair rolls freely into a bench is not my idea of fun!
