What jobs are reasonable for me to expect DD (10) to do & should she get pocket money for them

DD has asked for pocket money
Which she used to get Then I bought everything anyway so it kinda fizzled

So she says she will earn it

So what can I ask her to do - so far I have
Keep her room tidy
Keep her stuff of the stairs (big problem)
Close all the upstairs curtains when she comes in from school
Empty dishwasher weekends (complicated but she can't really do it during the week except in holidays)

So what else?

& is the pocket money dependant upon her doing stuff without nagging?

i used to get pocket money for doing stuff like setting / clearing table, washing or drying up dishes (not applicable here i see!..),
so a few jobs round the house that helps everyone..

maybe gathering up laundry sort to colour at weekends
distrubting clothes to owners room after laundered?

your jobs sound reasonable

my mum did remind my sister and i that we were to do it but didnt nag at all.. but if not done no cashola on friday night.. so it worked for me!

our rooms could be as we wished ... if really bad she wouldnt come in....
and she was slack at including my brother in this though as she said all jobs were gone ..wtf..so that caused my resentment really

or
make a huge list of all the stuff you would love to have done by her (and that she could do)
and let her pick 4 to do a week or something
give her post it with it on it and photocopy of fiver or whatever pocket money is to come....
