Babywearers - need help with a woven wrap...

I have a storch 5m wrap. Bought for DD when she was a baby but she was only in it a few times really. I found it too awkward to get on when she was screaming and wriggling (she was wild - still is lol) and felt I wasn't proficient enough to put it on/off when out and about. I then decided that it might be good for DS who was 18 months at the time. He let me stick him in it a couple of times but now won't let me try (now 2.5). He thinks it's a laugh going on my back but won't stay put long enough for me to finish wrapping it!

DD is 10.5 months and I was thinking of trying again with her. What carry should I try now she's bigger? She's just started taking independent steps so I thnk she'll be walking properly in a few weeks and this might be my only chance to get her used to the idea of it before she wants freedom!

Sorry, meant to ask if I should just give up, cut my losses and sell it? What sort of price should I put it up for? I think it was about £55 new and I have washed it once, worn if 20 times maybe?
