the biting stage.....tips please

ok so dd is 14months now and is going through the biting,pinching stage when she doesnt get her own way or wants to be spiteful.i dont know what youre supposed to do...ignore it or tell them off? or what? tips please! thanks

ive been there recently (dd was around that age)

ok our way may not be the right way for some but it worked for us. we set up her travel cot in the living room which we nicknamed the 'sin bin' lol. every time she bit, in she went with a firm 'no' it took a couple of weeks for her to suss it. In the end she would bite and then try to climb in herself
she hasnt bitten anyone for a couple of months now (she is 19m)

wow that is a fantastic idea.im off to the cupboard to drag out the travel cot that i thought would never see a use
