Baby friendly paint?

I want to make christmas cards using my 5 month old's handprints, but I am unsure what type of paint is ok to use on her skin, and how easy it is to get the paint off after? Or is she too young for me to do this yet?!

Another way to get paint off if you don't like using babywipes: coat in vaseline, leave 10 mins, wipe off. Paint will come off too. We did exactly what you are doing for ds 1st xmas-he was 3 1/2 months. Except we did foot painting. We also put a photo in of him doing the painting. Very nice for relatives etc.

Also re ELC finger paints-the tubs are NOT BIG ENOUGH (at least for foot painting around 25 cards). Be warned of this.

And for an apron-old adults t-shirt.

I want to do it again now but I think ds (13 months now) will protest. Hmmm.

What type of paint did you use then, Merglemergle? I think that footprints are probably easier than handprints now I think about it!
