1st question, does it effect their appitite? lo had 2 bottles yesterday & slept from 9pm-7am!!! now i'm worried it will fill her up too much, she won't drink enough, and lose weight?!?!

2nd question, reading the 'small print' on the tub, it says only to use it on recommendation of a doc / HV? my HV recommended it AGES ago when she was being REALLY sicky ... but she had improved since then ...

aaargh, i'm going crazy here, i don't wanna make her ill!!!

I used it for ds1 who had terrible pains when I switched from bmilk to ff circa 8 weeks but it sorted him out, used until he was about 4 months by which time he had outgrown the pains and went onto normal C&G. Gave him mega stinky green poos though! It was recommended by my HV too but I would recommend it to anyone. Might find you have to get faster teats though as it is a much thicker milk but you prob know that already. I added colief to his bottles also don't know if that made a difference too. sorry too long ago to remember whether it affected his appetite!

thanks hun!! her poo was still yellow this morning, but with green bits lol.

we'd got a couple of #3 teats in the cupboard (she usually used #2) & she managed a 5oz bottle with no real problem.

so is C&G comfort really a milk for babies with BIG digestive problems? and not really for babies who aren't so bad?

we gave dd this milk from about 6weeks as she was getting condtipated from sma gold and was quite colicky and it did her the world of goos. It toom about a week to settle into her system though and in that time she was very windy (smelly!!) and had dodgy poos! but sooo glad we beared with it, it was really good for her.
Dont think its for babies with really bad digestive problems, we were told by our hv that it is the closest milk to breast milk in the way it is digested
hope that helps x

my dd is 18 months and has been on this milk from about 3 months. she only has one bottle in an evening now but all of her bottles since i changed milk have been the comfort sort. i changed just because she didnt seem contented or settled. she would either be asleep or crying, and this milk really helped settle her. she has had no constipation problems, no wind or digestive problems. this milk just seemed to suit her. she dislikes cows milk, so for now she is still on formula.
