a coupla queries, this first one probably sounds daft to most of you but i'd like some opinions... i excl. bf dd til about 5 months, she now has a ff last thing at night, falls asleep on bottle and into cot asleep. REFUSES to settle by herself, and after about 1/2 hour the ONLY thing that seems to pacify her when she wakes is bf lying down, and she sleeps light, wakes coupla times more each night so she ends up in my bed most of the night every night. don't want to do cc because my folks are in the next room sleeping, both work full-time, and they didnt choose this set-up (long story, bit of dv from dd's dad). i was excl. ff and slept thru heavy from 4 months so mum not experienced in this prob! any hints for pacifying w/o bf? the other query is simply that no teeth are thru yet and getting a bit anxious cause all the other babies same age, even younger have em! what is normal max age for them to come thru? other than that, she's a happy, alert baby, small like me, gaining weight, bit slow to start crawling but she's quite mobile now. loves clapping and waving!

Can't really help you with the night time questions but my dd didn't get any teeth until 13 months - so at least you don't have to worry about that one! There are lots of people on here who can help you with the more pressing problem of night waking / settling. Hopefully they'll be along soon!
