dd1 takes a packed lunch to school everyday, im very lucky that she is a healthy little eater (although does not eat great ammounts) can anyone share some ideas to jazz things up a little, we might all benefit from it. some ideas i use are

1- swapping bread for bagels, tortilla wraps etc

2- cutting a kiwi in half and giving a spoon for her to spoon it out like a egg

3- making "fruit kebabs by threading fruit onto a straw and wrapping in foil so it does not get bashed.

i have a selection of small tupperware pots that i use for strawberries, melon etc but would love some ideas from other mums so that she does not get bored of the same things all the time.

Pasta salads, banana, apple, yoghurt/fromage frais, tuna and sweetcorn roll/sandwich, chunks of cheese, raisins, grapes, filled mini pittas, cherry tomatoes, carrot, I make fairy cakes and muffins and dd takes those in sometimes as a treat, soup in a small flask and can't think of more at the moment.

ds gets his knickers in a knot if his lunch varies in any way from the stated and adhered to requirements and has eaten the same things for ages.

Odd vairation - pots of cream cheese and bread sticks, few snack a jack type things, stuff we have 'made' the night before (carrot cake), I sometimes put a chocolate coin in there but that is mainly because there is a strict no chocolate rule and we kind of get a kick out of it.
