I know this would have been done 1000 times but im wondering if anyone can help me with advice on recommend carseats.

My criteria -
-Less than £300(including base) preferably around £200.
-Isofix
-i-size if possible!?

Thanks so much Smile

Id be looking for an extended rear facing seat up to roughly age 4, usually 18kgs. Joie do the cheaper ones so perhaps start there.

Look at securatot, incarsafetycentre and rear facing toddlers

Extended rear facing here too. We went for a belted seat, just as safe as isofix if done correctly but a pain if you are swapping between cars often - they have a higher weight range than isofix although many are based on height now. Look at securatot.co.uk

Isofix second stage seats only allow for up to 18kg so if you want a seat that goes beyond that weight limit you'll have to go for a belted seat. Axkid Rekid is currently on sale for just under £200, is ERF, and has an isofix base for use up to 18kg. After 18 and up to 25kg you can slide the isofix away and belt the seat.

Hi, I have just got joie I-anchor advance. It is from birth - 4. It's on offer at the moment £175 including isofix base!! Really recommend it. If you do not have the isofix clips in your car then you can buy the other version of the car seat which is £100, my partner has got this as his car doesn't have the clips.

Which? Are fans of ERF Seats. They marked the Britax Maxway as a don't buy as it was difficult to install. Ridiculous as it has good safety results and it's not hard to install!

Join Car seat advice for mummies and daddies on Facebook and follow the pinned post on how to choose a car seat.

However for now I suspect your child has loads of room in their infant carrier.

That should say Which? Aren't fans of ERF Seats.
