Chemist for medicine. But then what?

How long do they stay for?

Tiny bit of vasaline/Sudan creme on their bottom for over night. The little monsters wriggle out to lay eggs in then return. This, and the substance they excrete, is what causes the itching.

Trim nails right down, yours too, and scrub under nails with a brush. Try to keep DC fingers away from their mouth (yeah, right) and wash bed linen but be careful removing sheets. Down pull them off and dump on the floor, the eggs can fall off and spread across the room. Once sheets etc off, hoover ever where.

Good luck, you know to treat everyone in the house, yes?

lay eggs on the surrounding skin

Not lay eggs in.

The vasaline breaks the cycle by prevented that.

He's only just 2, so still in nappies. Would this make them any less contagious? clutches at straws

He doesn't seem to have any itchy issues, it's just actual worms. Well at least one that I saw this morning.

Will deffo treat everyone in the house and will Hoover like a madwoman.

Kids are fun aren't they? Envy

Be careful with the nappies then. Make sure it's folded in on itself, put straight in a bin bag.

If he's not the kind of toddler who spends all day with his hands shoved down his nappy then it should help keep them contained.

And yes, delightful creatures, children Grin
