Childrens Activity Tracker

Hi All,
Recently having had a conversation with other mums, I wondered what the wider community might think.
Do you think children should use activity trackers? What age do you think they could be used from or should they only be used if the child is overweight?
Would you encourage your child with a activity tracker?
Would you like to see a more child friendly way of tracking a child'sC activity?
There were some definite divisions in our conversation!
Thanks all, I'm interested to hear what you think! Smile

This sounds like market research to me.....

Not at all, genuinely curious!
I personally wouldn't let my kid use an activity tracker because I feel it could lead into things like eating disorders. My friend on the other hand would as she feels kids these days struggle to rip themselves away from screens etc.
To me kids stuck to screens is because of the parents not the screens themselves.

Mine are only.toddlers and if anything.eat a lot but aren't gaining weight as fast as expected so out of my pure interest I'd like to know how much activity they do. But of course I would give them a fit bit or ever want them to know they were being tracked.
