DS2 is 9 months old this week. He has always been grumpy! The first few months he cried all day everyday and after lots of gp and hospital visits we were told it's 'just' colic. Then it was teething. Then it was time for weaning. Well I think everyone's run out of ideas now!
Every time he hits a new stage things seem to ease a little. He was definitely ready for solid food just before 6 months. he started crawling just after that and that settled him further.
But he is still so touchy it's really hard t0 handle some times.
The slightest thing can set him off. If he doesn't get his own way he screams the place down.
It really gets me down. It ruins what should be nice family days out and disturbs ds1.
He had never taken comfort from cuddles - always fighting to turn himself away (he was bf for the first 6 months exclusively and as soon as he was done he would fight to get away).
He is so active I wonder if he is just impatient? I really struggled to keep him amused all day.
The only saving grace is that he sleeps pretty well although he is just getting over croup so that's gone out of thr window!
Any tips or advice?? Anyone else had a baby like this?
