Naps and dropping the dream feed?

My ds is just 7 months and I'm not sure if he's having too many naps. His routine is:

Wake around 6
Bottle at 7am
Breakfast around 8
Nap at 9ish for 1-2 hrs
Bottle at 11
Nap at 1ish for 1-2 hours
Bottle at 3
Nap at 5ish for around 30mins
Dinner at 6
Bottle at 7 then bed when he's tired and a final dream feed at 10ish

Does he need the dream feed still? When I say he's having breakfast and dinner he's still on tiny tastes so not having a lot and don't want to drop a feed if he needs it but how do I know if he needs the dream feed or not?!

How much is he taking at the dream feed? If it's still a full 7/8oz keep at it. If it's only an oz or 2 try dropping it and see what happens.

Nap wise if it ain't broke don't fix it!! If he's sleeping well at naps and at night you've got the routine sorted. It's probably going to be a good couple of months yet before you drop a nap. And you'll probably pick up from DS and his sleep habits that something needs to change.

Thank you for the reply. He's still taking a full 7oz. I didn't think I needed to drop it but then I talk to other mums and they have and I doubt myself, I should trust my instinct! The naps work for us and he sleeps through

We dropped the dream feed when I started waking her and she just refused to take anything. Had a couple of nights of that and then thought what was the point? The other thing you can do is bring it forward 5 minutes every couple of nights if you are fancying an early night? i used to stay up till 10:30 for ages when she probably would have been fine at 9!
As for the naps, my 8 month old has an hour in the morning, 2 over lunch and can easily squeeze in a cat nap in the pram/bouncy chair to give her the energy to managed bedtime. Hurrah for naps!

Sounds fine to me. My dc2 is 7.5 months old and the routine is quite similar:

Wake around 6 and feed
Breakfast around 8
Feed and nap around 9.30 (nap for about an hour)
Feed when wakes
Feed and nap around 1.30 (long nap - up to 3 hours)
Feed when wakes
Dinner around 5.30
Bath, feed, bed starting around 6/6.30
Dream feed whenever I go to bed
Wakes once to feed in the night, usually between 2 to 3am (YAY)

I'm breastfeeding so no idea how many ounces, but he takes a lot for his dream feed (some of the daytime ones are snackier) so no plans to drop it yet.
