Pushchair Strap Covers

First time poster, my little one is 2 now and still uses a pushchair from time to time. There's shoulder pads on it but the sliding adjuster for the straps is exposed. Which means little fingers find it, undo it, and lean forward.

Anyone know if i can get some sort of cover or pad to go over the whole strap? Proving a nightmare to keep the straps done up! I tried a safety pin below the buckle so even if it's undone, it can't be moved but that's just another attraction for little fingers....

Any advice appreciated!
