My 2nd baby is due anyday now and i am feeling hormonal, exhausted and pretty low. my 3 1/2 year old boy now has major tantrums. i am so scared how i will cope when i have a newborn to contend with as well. i know most toddlers go through this but i am really losing the plot with it. Usually they stem from me not accepting his demands and escalate to screaming, kicking, throwing stuff and hitting me. I feel a complete failure and dont know waht to do. I walk away, leave him, tried putting him on step to calm but when he is in a rage nothing works. finally when he comes out of it he is a differnt boy again. I have no real support in my area and my partner works long hrs.

you are not a failure

I'm due in 2 weeks and I have a 6 yr old and a very strong willed 21 month old. she has begun having tantrums in earnest whenever she doesn't get her way or doesn't want to be changed ....anything really. I can't seem to make her stop so I just ignore her, she gets really wound up(obviously anger) and then comes and creeps up to me for a cuddle

It is hard, you are not a failure. I am really worried about to cope with them all when the baby comes
my 6 yr old says that I don't treat her as nicely as her sister feel very bad about that.

basically terrified here, you're not alone
