I always feel i should do more but he is always tired after a couple of days at nursery.

First thing - breakfast, dinosaur games and cbeebies
Playground - took lots of persuasion to go on anything but eventually ran around a bit with a friend
Home for lunch
Round to a friends - he played on his own which is unusual.
Home - cbeebies, made eggy bread and some drop scones
More cbeebies!
Then it will be bath, books and bed

Oh and he constantly asked for food all day!!

Does that sound ok?

Sounds like my DD's perfect day, and she is 3.5. Stop worrying and just enjoy it. They'll be in school soon.

That you're doing two outdoor things in the day is plenty I think - I only managed one when I was that pregnant! Well done

My twins are 3.5, they go to pre school for 5 hours a weeks (2 afternoons).

This is a typical day...
They wake around 7:30/8am
Milk in my bed
Ceebies while I make breakfast
Breakfast around 8:30an
Go upstairs and get dress/brush teeth
Go to toddler group (around 10am)
Home from toddler group for lunch at 12pm
We go to a second toddler group most days at 1pm
Home for 3pm.
Tv goes on, usually a film while I prepare dinner.
Dh gets home at 5pm, we all have dinner together at 5:15.
Up for bath, stories, milk and test.
Bedtime is 6:30pm.

When dd was 3.5, dd2 was 1.5. The days were long and tiring!

7.30 up, play
8.30 breakfast, play
9.30 or so playgroup
11.30 home
12.30 lunch, cbeebies
2 out to library or playground followed by cafe
4 home
Cbeebies while I make dinner

Sometimes we stayed in in the afternoon but dd was v energetic and got restless at home.

Play was things like jigsaws and play doh, lego, dolls house, colouring, and baking but she didn't sit still for long so most activities were short lived and she spent a lot of time running round the house.

  • Wake up about 7-8am ish
  • Go down for breakfast (with Cbeebies! Lol)
  • Nursery at 9am until 1pm
  • Play together or park or soft play til about 5ish, basically fill in time with anything that needs done, including any shopping. On lazy days this ends up being films and indoor toys
  • Tea time (plus Cbeebies)
  • Bath at 6/6:30pm on bath nights
  • Bed at 7/7:30pm depending on tiredness or the days activities

I'm also third trimester and we've done a lot more watching Disney films and playing with toys than we have going to the park lately!
